Kitchen Assistant

Key Duties:

• Keep kitchen clean & tidy
  
• Help cooks/chefs with food preparation.
  
• Ensure efficient and safe delivery of all food orders.
  
• Set up, clear and prompt of service tables after use.
  
• Ensure dining areas are clean and always well-presented and assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.
  
• Assist in the set up and preparation and provide service duties for functions as required.
  
• Ensure that all front and back of house areas are always maintained.
  
• Cleaning and washing of plates, cutlery & glasses as required.
  
• To clean coffee machines and equipment as necessary, following company cleaning schedules and practices. 
  
• Maintaining great health and hygiene standards.
  
• Any other duties as directed by the management team

Requirements for the role:

• Ability to work as part of a team
  
• Ability to take initiative and resolve queries in a practical and positive manner
  
• Positive and flexible approach to work
  
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Ideal candidate will have previous basic kitchen experience.

Location HA54AL, limited public transport access so please check travel details before applying.

Salary: Meets national living wage per hour

Job Type: Various Flexible Days & hours to be covered. Minimum 20 hours per week.
